Kona Surf Company was founded in 1969 by New Jersey Surfing Hall of Fame Legend Mike Sciarra. Mike began shaping surfboards on the North Shore of Hawaii during the Shortboard Revolution in the late sixties, before taking his craft to Southern New Jersey. Kona Surf Company has been shaping surfboards for 50 years in Wildwood, New Jersey.

All of our Kona brand surf-inspired clothing is screenprinted in-house using ecofriendly and earth-conscious materials.

All of our surfboards are shaped in-house by our CNC cutter, then hand-finished and glassed on location. Any modification to our stock surfboards can be special ordered, or we can cut and finish one of your own custom designs.
