Our Story
New Jersey Surfing Hall of Fame inductee Mike Sciarra founded Kona Surf Co. in Wildwood, NJ in 1969 — after learning to shape boards on the North Shore of Hawaii during the Shortboard Revolution. What started in a garage on Nashville Avenue is now one of the most trusted surf shops on the East Coast. Still family-owned. Still shaping boards. Still here.
