Pick a model, choose your dimensions, construction, fin setup, and artwork, then place your order. Our shapers build it in-house and keep you updated.
Shipping
Surfboard shipping is calculated at checkout and isn't part of standard free shipping. Local pickup is available in Wildwood, NJ.

How does the custom surfboard process work?
Start by choosing a surfboard model from our lineup below. Each model page lets you select your preferred dimensions, construction type, fin setup, and artwork. Once you've configured your board and placed your order, our shapers at the Kona Board House cut the blank on our CNC machine and hand-finish every detail. You'll receive updates as your board progresses, and most orders are completed within 2 to 4 months.
How long does it take to build a custom surfboard?
Most custom surfboard orders are completed within 2 to 4 months from the date your order is placed. Turnaround can vary depending on the time of year and current order volume. If you need a board by a specific date, reach out to us before ordering and we'll let you know what's realistic.
Can I customize the dimensions, shape, and artwork?
Yes. Every custom order lets you adjust length, width, thickness, and volume to match your size and skill level. You can also choose your construction type, fin box configuration, and tail shape on select models. For artwork, you can pick from our standard color options or request a fully custom spray. If you have something specific in mind, contact us and we'll work with you on it.
Do I need to visit in person or can I order online?
Either works. If you're local to the Wildwood, NJ area or visiting the shore, stop by the Kona Board House at 160 W. Rio Grande Ave. to talk through your build with our shapers in person. If you're ordering from out of town, you can configure and order your custom board entirely online. We ship custom orders nationwide. Either way, you're getting the same board built by the same team.

Pricing depends on the model, dimensions, and construction type you choose. Each model page shows the base price, and options like upgraded glassing or custom artwork may adjust the total.
