Description
The Oyster Catcher is the ultimate groveler, designed to turn even the worst waves into a fun filled session by maximizing wave count and paddling ease. Its rounded nose and scoop facilitate quick, early take offs, especially in waves under 6 feet, while the mid entry rocker offers lift and confidence in late drops. The 60/40 rails add looseness and control, adapting well from softer, rounded waves to steeper faces for carving. The bottom contour single to double concave provides lift and speed, and the slight tail bump combined with the rounded pin tail enhances hold and responsiveness in steeper conditions. With multiple fin configurations, the Oyster Catcher is a true wave catching machine, perfect for making the most of less than ideal surf and turning dull days into an exciting ride.
